Arkansas selects PowerBlade HP for Razorback Stadium

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas Athletic Department has selected Sportexe as its turf manufacturer for the synthetic playing surface in Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The company will install PowerBlade 2.5 as part of the project, which is scheduled to be completed prior to August 1.

U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Validates Safety of Lead Chromate in Synthetic Turf and STC Announces Voluntary Reduction Standards.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced today that synthetic turf fields are okay to install and play on for children and people of all ages. The CPSC evaluation of old and newer synthetic turf fields concludes that "young children are not at risk from exposure to lead in these fields."
